Arts
At Meridian Public School, the Arts are an essential part of our curriculum. Aligned with our mission, we strive to provide enriched artistic opportunities seamlessly integrated within the broader academic framework.
Arts In Primary School
The Arts program at Meridian Public School encompasses both visual and performing arts, serving as a vital part of our transdisciplinary learning approach.
Our Arts curriculum encourages students to explore ideas, experiment with creative expression, develop skills and processes, and present their work through performances, exhibitions, and displays. Equal emphasis is placed on knowledge, skills, and deep understanding, ensuring a well-rounded artistic education.
At Meridian Public School, students engage in creative learning that extends beyond the classroom, fostering a sense of pride in their work while reflecting their unique flair and personal touch.
Art in Secondary School
Students in classes 6 to 8 engage with the Arts through a hands-on and structured approach, allowing them to focus on one artistic discipline at a time. This method helps them develop essential techniques and skills, which they then apply to create original artistic work.
For students in classes 9 and 10, the curriculum offers the opportunity to specialize in up to two Arts subjects. This enables them to explore their chosen disciplines in greater depth and refine their artistic abilities throughout the year.
